How to Make an Octopus for Your Child from Disposable Cup

August 9, 2016 By Emily

There’s a thing about children and animals that often made us wonder. Be it a puppy, kitten, fish or …worm, my curious George would get really excited and play with it for hours.

Remember the cute little pink octopus Pearl from Finding Nemo, or the reluctant hero Hank from Finding Dory, the mad Dave from Penguins of Madagascar… they’re  all side characters that become so popular among children. Octopus live in the far ocean but animation and stories bring them to live with emotion, characteristics and fun/cute design. You could make one out of paper cup, and let your child in for hours of fun and adventure too. Tell a story, play pretend, and teach your child about its fact, and how it looks like in the real world. It’ll be fun.

The fun is multiply if you could engage your child in the process too. While you teaching them how to do crafts, tell them about the making uses of old/recycle material to create beautiful projects. Just watch their learning and enjoyment would melt my heart, and so are your.

So let grab your kiddo and making one together, shall we?!!

Isn’t it fun? You could make them in different colors too. Oh, and the cone shape paper cup would work too. Now give it to your kiddo and have fun. See you at the next guide!!!
